Yahnundasis Golf Club

Nestled in the Heart of the Mohawk Valley is a 200 acre jewel known as the Yahnundasis Golf Club.

Established in 1897, the Club features an 18 hole course classically designed by famed architect,Walter J. Travis. The Club and its links have been noted in the early chronicles of organized golfing events as being part of two of the longest running interclub tournaments in the world. The hallowed halls of the English Tudor-Style Clubhouse have been host to a variety of guests such as United States President William H. Taft as well as other State and National dignitaries throughout the years.

Over one hundred years of history can be imagined as you pass through the front door and ascend the staircase to be greeted by a welcoming fireplace surrounded by aged oak paneled walls. Hanging above that fireplace is a portrait of one of the original founders of the Club, Vice President of the United States of America, James Schoolcraft Sherman.

For over a century the Yahnundasis Golf Club has been host to some of the finest private affairs in the area, and now, the Clubhouse is available to you for your special event.

The Clubhouse is made up of several private dining rooms. The Sun Room and Main Dining Room features beautiful vistas of the rolling greens of the Golf Course. The Formal Dining Room is ideal for a beginning cocktail reception with its chandeliers and French doors opening into the Main Dining Room.  The stately Executive Dining Room is cozy and inviting for a small intimate dinner with its aged oak paneled walls and wood burning fireplace.

Our staff is at your service to create the wedding of your dreams. We understand that no two events are ever the same, so we pride ourselves on our versatility and creativity. Our Culinary team will create an exquisite feast and our Catering Director will work individually with you to create a reception that reflects a timeless elegance that will live on in the memories of your special day.
