For more than 25 years AJ's Photography has specialized in photography and video for weddings and special events. Simply put, we begin coverage of your day 1 hour before the bride and her party dresses and depart at the end of the reception. This time span allows us to provide "full coverage" capturing every moment and detail from beginning to end. Our time frame allows us to capture the traditional images as well as the spontaneous fun, emotional and unexpected events which tell the entire story of your special day. After we have captured your day we continue to include you in the development and custom design of your wedding album. We realize not every couple wants to be involved in the album design and that's ok, but many do and we welcome you to participate. My driven goal is to envision the newlyweds 20, 30, 40 years from now looking at their wedding album and still loving it as the images within bring back the precious memories of their days events. Conveniently located in the Mohawk Valley, I am familiar with many local venues for wedding ceremonies and receptions. My knowledge of these environments allows me to readily and professionally plan and manage your video and or photography shoot to capture that “special pose” or scene. We use only high resolution Canon and Sony DIGITAL still cameras. Every shot is framed for optimal viewpoints with artistic style; striking a balance between being present to capture your special moments yet remain unobtrusive. We offer creative effects such as black and white copies, black and white prints with single or multiple colors left visible, digitally created or altered backgrounds, lighting effects, early color photo look from the 1950s, even photo aging effects that create a “100 year old” look. We can even turn your favorite wedding photo into a painting, or create a coffee table style wedding book versus a standard photo album.
